  29. My suggestion would be to consider the Sportster instead of the Courier,
  30. and add the Motorola Power 28.8 to your list.

  32. We did tests on our system and the Sportster ran neck and neck with the
  33. Courier on most transfers.  The Power 28.8 connected more consistantly than
  34. either USR, but the file transfer rate ran 5-10% slower.  OTOH, the
  35. Motorola never dropped the connect - the USRs did on several occasions.

  37. As for the Deskport - I would recommend it only if you have a notebook PC
  38. with no 16550 serial port.  You need to load resident software to use it
  39. with the parallel port which adds overhead.
